Ryan Cleland, DVM
Dr. Ryan Cleland grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He received an undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary with a BS in Biology. Dr. Cleland earned his DVM degree from Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Cleland comes to the Pittsburgh area with his girlfriend (another veterinarian) and their three demanding cats, Ace, Bowie, and Sirius.
Dr. Cleland’s special interests include infectious diseases, internal medicine, and One Health. Dr. Cleland has been fortunate enough to travel during his schooling, being able to both conduct research on the effects of wildfires on Australian birds and work with wildlife veterinarians to treat large mammals in South Africa.
When not working, Dr. Cleland enjoys camping, photography, and the occasional day spent watching Netflix.
He is looking forward to meeting all of you and our extended furry St. Francis family
